Lake Cushman is located in the southeast corner of the Olympic Mountains. The Lake is overlooked by several beautiful peaks including Mt. Ellinor, Lightning Peak and Mt. Rose providing for many scenic views. This 4,010 acre lake was created by the damming of the North Fork Skokomish River. It is a year-round recreation paradise, with hundreds of miles of roads, trails and waterways.
The Lake Cushman Golf Course is a picturesque 9 - hole golf course of regulation length. At Par 72, the course will challenge every level of player and make their golfing experience memorable. This is a beautiful course where all the greens are elevated. On most holes, there are out-of-bounds stakes lining both sides of the fairway. There are no sand bunkers, but you will find water hazards coming into play on a few holes.
Kokanee, bull trout, cutthroat trout and some land-locked chinook salmon can be found here. Opening day of lowland lakes fishing season always draws a crowd to Lake Cushman.
